A new hub for bike enthusiasts

Sidi is an Italian company specializing in technical footwear for cycling and motorcycling chosen by top-level athletes: its mission is to create durable, high-performance equipment that helps both professionals and enthusiasts to expand their potential. Sidi turned to us to completely revamp its eCommerce, migrating from Prestashop to Shopify Plus. The goal of the project was to create a brand portal that seamlessly integrates two distinct yet complementary worlds—cycling and motorcycling—into a single, cohesive ecosystem, delivering a smooth and immersive user experience.

The early stages of the project

Following our established workflow for Shopify projects, we kicked off the process with an in-person workshop alongside the Sidi team. This session helped define key objectives and align stakeholder expectations across various Business Units. We then conducted an in-depth User Research phase to identify the main pain points of the previous platform and prioritize improvements. The insights gathered guided the development of a custom theme designed to enhance both navigation and overall user satisfaction, with a strong focus on the most relevant KPIs for the success of the new eCommerce experience.



Spotlight on the product

Our User Research revealed a key insight: category pages and product pages account for 90% of the total site views and generate the highest volume of incoming traffic. We therefore focused our attention on improving their functionality and appeal.
We completely redesigned product pages, enriching them with editorial content to provide deeper insights. Given that many products come in multiple variants, we implemented the Shopify Combined Listings app to streamline product management. To enhance discoverability, we restructured the menu, creating more intuitive navigation paths. Additionally, using the Search and Discovery app, we customized the search function to display more relevant results and product previews, ensuring a seamless browsing experience.



A shop built for enthusiasts

The new Sidi website is not just an eCommerce platform, but also an institutional portal targeting different markets such as Italy, Europe, and the United States. At the core of this project is a strong emphasis on customer relationships. To support this, we developed a custom user area packed with features that make managing orders and preferences effortless.
This new digital hub brings together two passionate communities—cyclists and motorcyclists—united by the brand’s core values: innovation, technology, and craftsmanship in the service of sports performance.
